Reviewed Preprints will receive an eLife citation and a DOI that will remain constant over versions. So, if a link to a Reviewed Preprint was included in a funding or job application, and the Reviewed Preprint is updated, the link will take readers to the latest version. There will also be ways to, where appropriate, cite and link to different versions directly.
