@TheRepoRat my point is they can not entirely disappear- but may need to limit access to specific metadata associated with profile. #ORCID
@thereporat #ORCID ...so there may be some limits on what researcher/ others can do with record due to persistence/privacy. Make sense?
@thereporat #ORCID However.. "persistence" implies record cannot be "removed" & "privacy" imlplies researchers can "close" their records.
